I started taking this product for HSV 1&2 and I broke out into an allergic reaction, hives, itchy skin, puffy eyes. I took benedryl and it went away, but as I upped my dosage I started to find that the benedryl had no effect, so now I sit here writing you with two red, swollen puffy eyes. In terms of the symptoms I had before taking this product, they are definetly gone.

Glycerol monolaurate dissolves the fatty acid "envelope" rendering the virus incapable of grabbing on cells and spreading. I was having a lymph node under my arm getting tender and feeling EBV like. I have had trouble with this for years when I get run down. I started this supplement a little unsure ( sounded too good to be true), but it really has worked! This supplement is not sold in health food stores. After researching this I found Robert C. Atkins, MD wrote about it in his book,Vita-nutrient solution. I bought enough for my whole family to take it through the flu season.
This is the best anti-viral therapy I have found.

This is a excellent product and it really works. My brother has two children in school and there school was closed due to the flu. Both children seem to coming down with something, they gave the monolaurin to them and the next morning they were not sick at all. I too, when I felt like I could be getting a cold or achy like the flu, I took it and I felt great the next day. I really believe this stuff stops colds and flu in it's track! This should be in everyones shelf for when they think they maybe coming down with something. They are small waxy like tiny pellents that are very easy to take, I think easier then vitamins. Start off with a half of scoop and work your way up to 1 to 3 scoops. It truly is a great product! I received my product fast too!

After reading Fife's Book on coconut oil, I became convinced I wanted to have our family take coconut oil. The problem is that it can be a hassle. We use some coconut oil in cooking (and found a whipped 50-50 blend of butter and unscented coconut oil makes an excellent spread) - but tablespoons of it gagged us! After doing research on the concentrated coconut oil health benefits of monolaurin, especially for colds and flu, I was sold on using monolaurin.
The other problem was that we also take several other supplements. I can force myself to take them because I think of the health benefits. However, the thought of more capsules wasn't flying well with the family. These little pellets were a perfect answer!
They are VERY easy to take. They actually make it much easier to take the other supplements as well. Mixing the pellets with the other stuff makes it easier to swallow them. The icing on the cake was that they are also much more cost effective (especially in the economy size), so that taking a substantial daily preventative amount became affordable for us.
They got them here quickly so, with everything else, I have to give them a thumbs up. (They also have other "Ultimate" products. I haven't tried them yet since I still have my old ones to use up, but the information on their site is impressive. We'll see.)
